If you prefer an app-like experience where you have an icon on your device’s home screen and it launches without all the bells and whistles of a browser, you’re in luck! We built the Community Ally web app to work well like an app which means you can get the best of both worlds.
To install the web app:
- Open your group’s site in your mobile browser
- Install the app, it differs per browser app
- In Chrome, click the 3 dot menu, scroll down, select “Add to Home Screen”
- In Safari, click the share button (square with an up arrow coming out), select “Add to Home Screen”
- In Firefox, click the 3 dot menu, scroll down, select “Install”
- Confirm installation
And that’s it!
