Email Attachment Size Limit

Our email service provider (who does a great job making sure your association emails get passed your spam folder) has a 10MB attachment limit. This may seem low, but it’s a safe limit since most of the big providers have varying limits of their own. This way, we can be sure your attachment will make it through.

So if you’re trying to send an attachment greater than 10MB, you have a few options:

  • If you’re sending images, downsize the image or save as JPG with a lower image quality setting.
  • If you’re sending images and prefer not to downsize, many photos services let you generate shareable links to the photo(s) without needing to attach them.
  • If you’re attaching documents/files, you could upload the document to a service like Google Docs, Dropbox, SharePoint, etc. then share a link to that document rather than send it as an attachment

Happy sending!
